To use the Reset Password utility, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be an active student or employee;
  2. Have previously provided secret answers during the First Time Users setup;
  3. Know your MyCOM username;
  4. Have an active "Personal Email" address on file.

If you do not know your MyCOM username or have not previously established secret answers via the First Time Users workflow, please select Forgot Your Username below. Please keep in mind that the First Time Users workflow will reset your existing MyCOM password.

To reset your password, please submit your MyCOM username below. You will be prompted to answer a minimum number of questions from the pool you provided during the First Time Users Setup. When your secret questions are answered correctly, a random generated password will be displayed on screen.

You may either login in immediately with your newly generated password or change the new password to one of your choosing. We recommend that you immediately change your generated password. To do so, please copy the generated password before selecting the Change your password option.

Upon completion, please update all applications and devices that connect using your MyCOM account with your new password.

STAFF only: 

Please keep in mind that resetting your MyCOM password is effectively resetting your network password. Your MyCOM and network username and password are the same.

If you are currently logged onto a district PC with your network account, do not use MyCOM to reset your password. If your password is expiring soon, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and click Change a password on the district PC.  If you are not familiar with the steps above or the college's policy restrictions for new passwords, please log onto MyCOM and open the Change Password page for more detailed STAFF instructions.
